"Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."
Psalm 127:3-5
Clara Mae

I am the second daughter of the Johnson family, the fourth oldest, the fourth youngest.  I am a follower of Jesus Christ, my Savior and Lord, and I look forward to what he will do with my life, both now and later.

Some of my interests include playing the violin and piano, collecting recipes, art and pottery, baking and cooking, reading, babysitting, spending time with my family and friends, hunting, herbal remedies and health, arranging flowers, animals, chocolate, polka dots, gardening, photography, and blogging. :)

Some of my favorite books include the Bible, books on herbal remedies, missionary biographies, Lamplighters, the Regina Silsby series, books by G.A. Henty, Isabella Alden, Elisabeth Elliot, Joel Salatin, Jason Lisle, and Ken Ham; I like to read about the topics of Christian theology, history (particularly the Revolutionary War, Civil War, and WWII) farming, music, and photography.

My hope and desire is to stay at home under my father's protection and authority until marriage and to fulfill the Great Commission from our home, while staying productive and being a helper to our family and to those in the community.
